Gneiss CMS, the CMS based on the framework behind, is now live.

Gneiss CMS is, as the name suggests, a CMS based on Gneiss. It will be released to the general public under an open source licence for early access beta testing about a week after we have finished late-Alpha security testing. In other words, soon, but not yet.

Gneiss CMS, part of the official Gneiss project, will contain enough modules to set up and run a blog, a simple forum, or any other content rich site. The early versions will be a bit light on features as Gneiss is designed to have a very minimal core which is extended as needed.

The following modules are planned for the first release.

  • Gneiss::Core
  • Content
  • users
  • Gneiss::UI
  • commments
  • index
  • sysdoc
